Why this site exists

The Canadian Rockies are easy to reach and hard to plan. Trailheads fill up early, some roads are closed to private cars, campgrounds book out months ahead and the weather in the mountains changes fast. A guided small-group tour takes much of that off your hands. But which one? This site helps you choose.

What we cover

We focus on guided multi-day tours in the Canadian Rockies: camping tours, inn-based hiking tours and backpacking trips through Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Kootenay and Kananaskis. We only write about tours that show their price openly and can be booked online.

How we work

We study each itinerary in detail – trails, distances, elevation gain, overnight stops – compare inclusions and check prices regularly. We do not accept payment for placements. If a tour has a weak point, we mention it.
